HI AIR Korea is awarded two (2) SOx Scrubbers by Namsung Shipping Co., Ltd. to be installed on 1,000 TEU Container Carriers on 05-Apr-2019.

This order has been placed after anticipative decision of installing SOx Scrubbers by Namsung Shipping in order to cope with International Maritime Organization’s SOx emission environmental regulation which is effective as of 2020.

The two (2) 1,000 TEU Container Carriers will be built by Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd. in Busan. The delivery of 1^st SOx Scrubbers is expected on Dec-2019 and 2^nd one is on Feb-2020.
